Looking Closely: Writing Walks for Young People with Julia Sforza

Young people aged 8 - 12 are welcome to join Julia Sforza for a guided walk through the land discussing basic natural identification, and learning about invasive plants. There will be a short time to be quiet and write down observations of our natural surroundings. At the end of the walk there will be a small gathering, where we will share thoughts and ideas about how to better appreciate and steward the land over herbal tea and homemade cookies. This walk is for young people who are interested in nature and writing. Adults must accompany or stay nearby.
