Once a year, the beautiful 1802 Meetinghouse on Quaker Avenue in Highland Mills, called “Smith Clove,” opens to the public. This year, all are invited on Sunday, August 27, 2017 to gather in contemplation of the concept of sanctuary. Stay for the hour of quiet worship or just come and see the simple, sacred space. The building will open at 10:30 a.m. Quiet Quaker worship will be held from 11 a.m. to noon. Then the Meeting House will be open for guests to visit until 1 p.m.
