Celebrating Irish heritage and Staatsburgh’s connections to Ireland, participants will craft Irish soda bread in a jar to bake at home. We’ll tell the story of Irishwoman Annie Moore, the first immigrant processed at Ellis Island, and visit a replica of one of the Irish maid’s bedrooms in the mansion. We will also learn about the Millses’ daughter, who married the 8th Earl of Granard, an Irish aristocrat. All materials will be supplied. Cost: $5 per child.
Appropriate for children ages 4 and older, accompanied by an adult.
