Intro to Wheel Throwing with Grace Moore 6 Tuesdays, 5:30-8 pm September 14 - October 19 Clay Works, 485 Main Street in Poughkeepsie This course will cover the foundation techniques of wedging clay, throwing basic cup or bowl forms, trimming, adding handles, and glazing. This course is a great introduction (or a refresher!) to working on the wheel, and working in a community studio. There will be ongoing demonstrations and plenty of work time. All six-week clay classes included unlimited Open Studio time for the duration of the class. No prior experience with clay necessary.
