Learn fundamental skills such as hand building, wheel throwing, sculpting, decorating, and glazing techniques. The goal is to cultivate creativity and explore the variety of ways in which clay can be transformed. Students will gain a broad understanding about the properties of clay. Tools and clay are provided. No experience necessary. English & Spanish instruction offered. Note: Wear an old shirt that you wouldn’t mind getting a little dirty.
Firing fees are separate (6¢ per cubic inch).
$80 for a 2-week series (10/4 & 10/11).
