In Pixar's inventive and Oscar-winning Inside Out (2015), the personified emotions of young, uprooted Riley help her navigate a new city, house and school. But as Riley enters puberty, those less complex emotions, who've long been running a successful operation by all accounts, get a rude awakening when Anxiety (Maya Hawke) shows up. And it looks like she's not alone. The others at Headquarters, including irrepressible Joy (Amy Poehler), don't stand a chance. Another classic in the making, INSIDE OUT 2 poignantly blends the see-saw hilarity and challenges of this universally awkward stage, the way only Pixar can.
