Award-winning saxophone and percussion trio, Hot Wrk Ensemble, is pleased to partner with special guest artist Gwen Laster - jazz violinist, composer and Guggenheim Fellow - for this special concert at the Old Dutch Church, Kingston. Joining them is percussionist, Angel Michael Lau. Concert features a new work by Laster, commissioned for their 2025 tour. Hot Wrk deconstructs and “wrks out” concepts of traditional chamber music and the concert experience by engaging communities to interact with and partake in the creation process. Concerts include original works, jazz, classical, world, and popular styles.
