The hip is meant to be one of the more mobile joints in our body, but due to our lifestyle of sitting on chairs and driving in cars, this is not often the case. Studies have shown that hip immobility and/or weakness, can lead to low back and knee pain. In this 2-hour class, we will explore the ranges of motion of the hip and learn different movements and actions to both mobilize and strengthen the joint. This class will be challenging but is suitable to practitioners of all levels.
