Join us for the opening reception of ‘Phytophilia: The Love of Plants,’ an exhibition by artists Lawre Stone, Janis Stemmermann, and Katharine Dufault, this Saturday, August 15, from 5 - 7 PM. Interacting with plants offers beauty, awe, and grounding, allowing us to transcend our immediate context. This exhibition brings together three artists working with the vegetal world as subject, refuge, and inspiration. The works in this exhibition consider the significance of the vegetal in our lives, our ways of thinking, and our relations with human and non-human beings.
