Dakota Lane's CandyLand: an immersive art exhibition

From rock royalty to cult leaders, Multimedia artist, NY Times journalist and teen mentor Dakota Lane explores the power of art to heal with CandyLand, an immersive exhibit with paintings, photos,  and artifacts, transforming personal, high-stakes childhood experiences and in showcasing the power of art and community to heal.  The Lace Mill in Kingston, NY, from August 1-29, The interactive exhibit features vibrant neon art, a community resiliency forest, and a free "50 Ways to Tell Your Story" workshop on August 5.
