Join us for an incredible afternoon of Son Jarocho music at the beautiful Beatrix Farrand Garden at Bellefield.
Son jarocho is a form of music from the southern region of Veracruz State in Mexico. They use traditional string instruments (jarana, guitarra de son, and tamira). The best known song from this tradition is "La Bamba."
This concert is free and will be a memorable experience for music lovers of all ages. The band will also be teaching us about the history and meaning of this traditional music.
