Forgotten Hamlets of Dutchess County

As part of our speakers series, the Wappingers Historical Society presents David Turner, local historian and author of the book "Wappinger" in the Arcadia Postcard History Series. David will present a pictorial tour with vintage postcards and speak on the rich history of the lesser known Dutchess County hamlets that are no more than cross roads today, such as Brinkerhoff, Barrytown, Smithfield, Schultzville, Clinton Hollow, Clove, Glenham, Akert Hook, Bulls Head, Frost Mills and many more.. This event is open to the public.
