CONVEY/ER/OR Gallery is honored to present the art, practice and imagination of William Carter. This exhibition of fabric puppets, performance photographs, and puppet-related illustrations, entitled “For The Imagination”, is a display of how integral an art form puppetry is to the development of our own inner worlds. Accompanied by a short performance of “Ripe Fruit, Bruised Fruit” at the opening reception, this show allows onlookers to experience their feelings of belonging through the vessels of fantastical creatures, and experience a form of self-expression that is usually solely reserved for our youth.
