NY Caring Majority and Rhinebeck at Home are sponsoring a film screening and a community conversation about home care. At 1:00 State Senator Sue Serino will speak, and we will show the documentary movie Care. Care addresses the poignant and largely-hidden world of in-home elder care, revealing the deep bonds that form between paid care workers and elders while exposing the cracks in the U.S. care system. Following the showing at 2:30, speakers will discuss the challenges of home care in the Hudson Valley, for people who need and provide care.
