"Esopus Creek Puppet Suite"
armofthesea.org
Arm-of-the-Sea, founded in 1982, combines storytelling with live music and live-sized puppetry.
Donning painted masks double the size of their heads and wielding puppets that look transported straight from a stop-motion film, Arm-of-the-Sea will host their annual "Esopus Creek Puppet Suite," a celebration of live puppet and mask theater at the Tidewater Center in Saugerties. This year, they’ll draw from myth and empirical insight to tell the story of the Sheffield Paper Mill.
