Emmalon Davis, 2019 LSA Collegiate Fellow (philosophy), specializes in ethics, social and political philosophy, and epistemology, especially where these areas intersect with philosophy of race and feminist philosophy. Her talk, "Procreative Justice Reconceived: Undermining Propaganda and Averting the Moral Gaze," is a two part critical analysis of Tommie Shelby's account of procreative responsibility in his 2016 book, "Dark Ghettos." The Philosopher's Holiday Lecture Series is sponsored by the Philosophy Department and Dean of Faculty.
