Woodstock-based singer, songwriter, and guitarist Elly Wininger brings her very own brand of acoustic blues to Chromatic Studios, joined by bassist Lou Pappas. Growing up in New York City, Elly was introduced to the music listening to her parents’ 78s. Later, hanging out in the Village, she would listen to Lightnin’ Hopkins, Muddy Waters, Mississippi John Hurt, Dave Van Ronk, and newcomers like her teacher David Bromberg, and John Hammond Jr., Artie Traum, Geoff Muldaur, Danny Kalb and so many others.
