Elizabeth Mihaltse Lindy’s work embodies the resilience of the female body as a vessel for grief and care. Using her own body as a frame, she casts wet sheets of paper into three-dimensional, elegiac forms that are both delicate and unexpectedly self-supporting. Her process-driven practice unfolds as a ritual, shepherding these paper bodies through cycles of creation and dissolution. The exhibition features a sculptural installation of figurative paper shrouds, as well as photographs and videos. Lindy will perform Mourning Ritual at the closing, May 4, 2–4pm. Show runs April 12 – May 4, 2025.
