Dust Bowl Faeries fuse dark cabaret and polka-punk with witchcraft and woodland magic. Hailing from the New York Hudson Valley, their accordion-driven freak-folk sound combines singing saw, lap-steel, bass, percussion, and acoustic guitar, inspired by sinister circus songs and Eastern European folk. Founded by Ryder Cooley and Hazel the Ram, they’ve released albums like Magic & Mayhem (2024) and Carnival Dust (2023).
Frenchy and the Punk, a NY-based duo, blends post-punk, darkwave, and goth rock with electro-acoustic guitars and fiery percussion, inspired by The Cure, Adam and the Ants, and Siouxsie and the Banshees.
