Dreams of Folded Door, a Multi-Media Installation by Dani and Sheilah ReStack opens 4/7 at the Mildred I. Washington Gallery at Dutchess Community College. Dreams of Folded Door combines research into a 19th century separatist women's community in Belton, Texas, and speculative filmmaking. The exhibit in the Mildred I. Washington Gallery will present four dream sequences from the film as separate projections. In addition to the media projections the exhibit will feature costumes, props, and images that contextualize the story of this 1860's group of women first known as the Sanctified Sisters.
