Archive of Attention Artist Talk

Em Koch is bringing her MFA Thesis exhibition to Dutchess Community College's MW Gallery. During her Artist Talk, the artist will speak about her graduate experience and her creative process. Koch has a unique style of walking the streets, collecting objects, sketching and making pigments based on those collected objects, then developing those pieces into larger installation works with small, sculptural details embedded. Koch’s Artist Talk will explore her thinking and process as well as exploring her journey from completing her BA in Psychology & Visual Studies from Harvard University to now completing her MFA in from SVA.
