An "Urban Wall" art piece by Franc Palaia showing at Curio Cabinet of the Hudson Valley
In this intimate exhibition, Hudson Valley artist Franc Palaia will showcase a variety of mixed media works that incorporate archival color photography, painting, sculpture, and architecture. The show includes a selection of works from several of Palaia's "Urban Wall" series spanning four decades and which include Italian, French, Cuban and American influence. The title of the show, “Curio-Curioso” comes from combining the name of the establishment, "Curio" and "Curioso", which in Italian means "odd, strange, peculiar, humorous and a bit weird." Refreshments will be served Jan. 9, 5-7pm. Show runs through February 28.
