The Women's Studio Workshop is hosting a Classic + Contemporary Figure Drawing Workshop with Kristin Rego on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-8:30pm starting May 10 - May 26. Working from a live nude model, this figure drawing workshop will cover a range of approaches and techniques for beginners and experienced members of the community alike. Meet this challenge by exploring concepts of gesture, contour line, form, value, and positive & negative space. The study of body proportions, anatomy, movement, foreshortening and varied mark-making are emphasized using digital slide references from art history and drawing demonstrations from the instructor.
