Clarion Concerts - Tommy Mesa and JP Jofre - Saturday, October 19, 2025 • 3:00PM @ Stissing Center for Arts and Culture. Two artists, each extraordinary in his own right, who bring us a beautiful and adventurous sound world tinged with romance from south of the border. Tommy Mesa is an award-winning Cuban-American cellist, and he’ll be joined by an Argentinian composer who is a true virtuoso of the bandoneon, JP Jofre. Together they will bring music that is both familiar - as in works of Astor Piazzolla and Carlos Simon - and new, with ideas from JP Jofre and Andrea Casarrubios.
