The unofficial kickoff to summer returns to Accord on June 13 as Catskills Roller Disco transforms Skate Time into a glittering, four-hour celebration of dance, music, and roller-skating culture. Now in its eighth year, the event has become a Hudson Valley institution, drawing locals and weekenders alike for an evening of sparkly costumes, classic roller-disco anthems, underground house music, and carefree fun on eight wheels.
This year's lineup features DJs Laura Lynn, Lauren Murada, and Eli of Soul Clap spinning everything from disco gems to contemporary dance-floor favorites. The evening also includes best-dressed awards, tipsy skate lessons, local beer, cider, wine, tasty bites, and the beloved BjornQorn Popcorn Bar.
