Sunday Punk Matinee hits Night Swim in Kingston, NY with five bands and an early start. Hide and Shine opens with self-described art-death, indie, post-punk-country alternative rock, followed by James Dean & The Village Green’s Hudson Valley mix of rock & roll, punk rock, and power pop. Minnesota’s Couch Potato Massacre brings pop punk energy, Lake Lanier delivers loud, political BIPOC hardcore punk from NYC, and Ramona Lane closes things out with a sound that lands somewhere between punk, R&B, and something else entirely. $8 advance, $12 door. Doors 4PM, music 5PM sharp. We put the punk in punctuality.
