This spring, the “Beginner Striper Fishing” course is being offered by the Ulster BOCES Adult Career Education Center, running on Thursday, April 21, from 6-9 PM, at the Career & Technical Center in Port Ewen, and on Saturday, April 23, from 10 AM-1 PM, at a local park. An experienced professional will teach the fundamentals of Striped Bass fishing, which includes tackle, baiting, casting, and how water and weather conditions will affect your success. The class is $79, plus a $20 supply fee to be paid to the instructor on the first night of class. Bait and tackle supplied.
