A sculpture can tell a story,capture the essence of a moment in time,or simply show off the beauty of the human figure.You will learn how to sculpt the human figure in exciting ways that will help you develop your own artistic style.This class is about anatomy,structure,and composition.You will learn to develop quick studies and finished work throughout this course.We will study works of great sculptors who have mastered these elements in order to inspire you in your own work.This is a direct-fire,clay to kiln class. All pieces will be fired at the conclusion of the class.
