Altered Landscapes: At Risk - Forest & Field. Sept. 24 - November 20. Reception: Sept. 24, 4-6 pm. Muroff Kotler visual Arts Gallery. At the heart of this exhibition is an examination of the shifting relationships among people, climate, and regional ecosystems. Through painting, drawing, sculpture, and photography, Altered Landscapes explores environmental changes affecting local ecosystems while examining themes of climate change, ecological loss, resilience, and adaptation. The exhibition features seven Hudson Valley artists serving as SUNY Ulster’s fall semester Artists in Residence: Chrisso Babcock, Sergey Jivetin, Monique Luchetti, Sara J. Pasti, Lawre Stone, Enne Tesse, and Lori Van Houten.
