The Haiti Project will host its 25th annual art sale and auction September 26–28 in the Multi-Purpose Room of the College Center at Vassar College. The event presents hundreds of original Haitian works-paintings, iron sculptures, papier-mâché, and wood and metal crafts-and all purchases are 50% tax-deductible. The online auction runs September 19–29. Proceeds support education for 250 primary students, as well as secondary and adult learners. On September 27, Sabrina Marzouka, Commissioner of the Dutchess County Department of Community and Family Services and a Haiti Project board member, will deliver the keynote, “The Role of Art in Time of Conflict.”
