(your) body is an art talk

Join Renee Gladman, artist & writer included in our spring exhibition, Marcella Durand, a poet & scholar whose work explores intersections between ecology, science, art, and poetry, and Edwin Torres, the curator of (your) body is a porous language: (our) embodied connections for a conversation inspired by Ann Street Gallery's spring exhibition. This lecture and reading will expand upon how their practices engage with properties of knowing and un-knowing in their work, discuss how porosity allows empowerment in the creative space, and explore the exhibition's integrated architectures of language-making.
