Young and Hung

Daniel Morowitz’s work straddles the divergent narratives of queer identity and art history, while existing in the liminal space between representation and abstraction. Personal relationship and pornographic imagery are woven together and obscured through paint splotches, glazes, and removal; ultimately the effect being a bedroom at night where experience is translated through the quality of paint rather than images depicted.
