WORKSHOP & CONCERT - Resonant Mechanisms: The Experimental Tradition in Upstate New York, [Switch~ Ensemble]

Based in New York City and founded in 2012 at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, the [Switch~ Ensemble] presents a concert of new and significant works engaging with the rich tradition of experimental music in Upstate New York with Resonant Mechanisms. Featuring the world premiere of newly commissioned works by composers Victoria Cheah and Jen Kutler, alongside works from Sarah Hennies and Julius Eastman, the program explores a range of modalities in music for quintet and electronics. Free participatory workshop with the artists from 4-5 PM. Concert at 7 PM.
