Join us for a special celebration with music, a lantern walk and star-gazing.
On the winter solstice, the sun travels its shortest path through the sky — it is the shortest day and longest night of the year as well as the first day of winter. We celebrate the winter solstice and the return of light.
We will celebrate with some of our favorite traditions from around the world — including a performance from a local chorus, decorating pine trees with edible decorations for the birds, making lanterns and making wishes for the new year around the fire pit.
