What’s Left Unsaid explores themes of omission, marginalization, and the transformative power of poetry through a compelling program of works by contemporary American composers.
Performed by vocalists Jaclyn Hopping, Georgia Perdikoulias, Nicole Rizzo, Jacob Hunter, pianist Pei-Hsuan Shen, and cellist Sarah Martin, the recital highlights historically silenced voices. Featured works include Juhi Bansal’s Love, Loss, and Exile, Barber’s Hermit Songs, Laitman’s Four Dickinson Songs, and Hall’s Great Camelot. Taking place on December 8, 2024, at 3 PM at The Church of the Messiah in Rhinebeck, admission is free and donations will support the church’s Afghan Refugee Rescue Mission.
