We're happy to welcome this ensemble back to the Howland. The Westchester Jazz Alliance Quartet will give you an evening of tunes from the American jazz songbook. Think of "all of the major composers of the time," says Charley Krachy, leader of this band and a sax player. That can also include artists like Jerome Kern and Hoagy Carmichael. Charley welcomes special guest vocalist Alexa Fila to this show. His band members are Dave Frank, piano; Joe Solomon, bass; and T-Kash Inuoe, drums. Two of the members were closely associated with the legendary jazz pianist/educator Lennie Tristano.
