Warwick Applefest

Warwick Applefest has grown from a modest harvest celebration into one of the Hudson Valley’s largest and most beloved annual events. Each fall, the historic village of Warwick transforms into a bustling festival ground where more than 250 vendors line the streets with handmade crafts, artisanal goods, and farm-fresh produce. The scent of cider and baked apples fills the air, while local food vendors serve everything from classic festival fare to inventive autumnal treats.

Live music rings out across multiple stages, showcasing regional talent in a range of styles, adding a soundtrack to the daylong celebration. Families find plenty to enjoy, with dedicated children’s activities, interactive games, and a festive carnival atmosphere. Traditional contests like apple baking and pie eating connect the event to its roots as a harvest fair.

Launched in 1989, Applefest has been recognized among the “Top 100 Events in North America,” drawing tens of thousands of visitors annually. Organized by the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce, the festival also benefits local nonprofits, keeping the spirit of community at its core. For visitors, Warwick Applefest offers the perfect blend of small-town charm, seasonal abundance, and a true taste of Hudson Valley fall.
