"Waitress" comes to the Mainstage at Shadowland Stages on July 25.
"Waitress," based on the film by Adrienne Shelly, follows the story of Jenna, a waitress who is stuck in a small town and a loveless marriage. After an unexpected pregnancy, Jenna may have to abandon her dream of opening a pie shop, until a baking contest offers her a chance at hope. With music by Sara Bareilles, "Waitress" is equal parts whimsy and heartbreak, staged at Shadowland Stages in Ellenville.
