Metalsmith, jeweler and educator Suzanne Pugh "is interested in material, metaphor and narrative, which she explores through surface patterning, line, drawing, and form – all in pursuit of works that balance a light touch on serious subjects," according to her website. Pugh regularly teaches workshops and serves as a guest instructor at several art institutions across the country, and has exhibited nationally and internationally. She earned her BFA from the University of Georgia and her MFA from Kansas State University.
