Nashville, Tennessee-based artist Kristine Potter "explores masculine archetypes, the American landscape, and cultural tendencies toward mythologizing the past," according to her website. Potter, a 2018 Guggenheim Fellowship awardee, works an assistant professor of photography at Middle Tennessee State University. Her work is in several public and private collections, and has been exhibited nationally and internationally. Potter earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography and Bachelor of Arts in art history from the University of Georgia, and her Master of Fine Arts in photography from Yale University.
