Using a MONOCHROMATIC color palette, students will be encouraged to experience art making through the eyes of the abstract painter. The philosophy and the process involved in the abstract art movement will be discussed. Monochromatic colors will be discussed. Materials Needed: 3 separate canvas boards, Masking tape, Acrylic paint, Brushes, water / paper towels, Palette, Pencil / eraser, Scrap paper
