In this early work, an all-female rock band plays a cover of the song “Babies” by Pulp, with Naama Tsabar, the lead performer, on electric guitar. The song’s tempo escalates, and Tsabar enacts what is expected to be the destruction of her guitar by smashing it against the stage. But the guitar does not break, the stage instead begins to splinter apart by the violent hits of the reinforced guitar. The band continues to play until the platform is destroyed and the artist herself collapses from exhaustion.
