Acclaimed comedian Paul F. Tompkins is revitalizing his modern variety show, "Varietopia," at the Egg in Albany. Originally debuting at the Largo nightclub in 2002 under the name "The Paul F. Tompkins Show," this showcase of the best contemporary comedy, music, and other forms of live entertainment ended its long run in 2014. It has returned to Los Angeles in a new location, the spectacular Lodge Room in Highland Park, and now embarks on a tour across the nation. Guests are always a surprise, and past surprises have included Fiona Apple, Judy Greer, Patton Oswalt, Adam Scott, Donald Glover, and Fred Armisen—amongst many others.
