Upstate Art Weekend at The Gallery at Yellow Studio: Fiber Forward Artists' Talk with Shweta Bist, Janine Brown, Jocelyn Russell and Katie Truk

As part of Upstate Art Weekend 2026, The Gallery at Yellow Studio, a UAW participant, presents special programming: an artists' talk with Shweta Bist, Janine Brown, Jocelyn Russell, and Katie Truk on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 2pm to 3:30pm. The talk is held in conjunction with Fiber Forward, on view May 30 through June 28, 2026, an expansive group exhibition bringing together 38 women and non-binary artists examining fiber art as a site of experimentation and critical inquiry, curated by Tina Villaveces. The talk takes place during the exhibition's closing weekend. The event is free and all are welcome.
