Sweet, tart, tangy, juicy. The tomato is a perennial favorite. On August 10th, it will be farm-fresh, sun-warmed, perfectly ripe, and the star of the inaugural Tomato Feast in the Field, an event curated and co-hosted by Farm + Field and Fat Apple Farm to celebrate the beauty and bounty of the Hudson Valley. All are invited to attend this family-friendly feast at the bucolic Fat Apple Farm in Pine Plains for games, activities, farm tours, and locally-sourced beverages and foods, ending with s'mores around the bonfire.
