A virtuoso performer of roots music, he has been hailed as a specialist of fingerstyle guitar. He has toured both the US, and Europe to thunderous accolades. Blending the blues, ragtime, country, bluegrass, old-time jazz and rock, Walker’s style is his own. His unique musicianship has earned him numerous awards, including being the 1st place recipient of the International Blues Challenge Award. He has taught at Carnegie Hall and at the acclaimed Fur Peace Ranch guitar camp, owned by Jorma Kaukonen of Hot Tuna and Jefferson Airplane fame.
