The Historical Society of Woodstock will host several talks and demonstrations illustrating the use of tools throughout the history of Woodstock. The talks and demonstrations will be presented by local historians and crafts people and will complement the new exhibit in the HSW’s Tool Shed. The Tool Shed exhibit highlights some of the stories of the people of Woodstock through the tools they used from the mid-1800s until the mid-1900s. They represent farm families, tradespeople, and merchants. The tools on display show a sample of the types of work in which these people engaged.
