The Saw Kill Watershed Community: Harmful Algae, Flooding, and More
The meeting will feature a presentation on harmful algae in our shallow lakes, ponds, and river by Robyn Smith of the Bard Center for Environmental Policy. The meeting will also feature a FlowCam demo from the Bard Water Lab, showing how this advanced microscope is used to identify algae and microorganisms in water samples. The meeting will also include updates on ongoing projects and time for community conversation about current water issues.
