The story of a spiritual adventurer whose blessed unrest leads him on two paths. The Buddha’s curiosity led him to explore his mind, body, and spirit like a scientist, discovering truths — the Dhamma — that could help people escape suffering. Similarly, when psychotherapist Richard Schwartz's patients weren't improving, he stepped backed from the models in which he trained and objectively observed and listened to the data before him, his patients. His model, Internal Family Systems (IFS), helps patients heal by building relationships within their internal psyche. This talk will include meditation, direct experience with IFS, and space for conversation.
