Tompkins Corners will present a screening of The Man Without a World, a modern-day silent film, accompanied by an original live score composed by world-famous klezmer fiddler Alicia Svigals and silent film music legend and pianist Donald Sosin.
The Man Without a World is a moving, comic melodrama set in a typical shtetl (village) in Poland. It is credited to the legendary (and imaginary) 1920's Soviet director Nevgeny Antinov, and is the creation of contemporary filmmaker Eleanor Antin, a world-renowned artist, author, and performer.
